What is up with all the cheap-ass bitches complaining because the music events for Atlanta Pride have an admission fee? You already know that they had to move from Piedmont Park and rent the expensive Civic Center because of the drought, and they've been operating in the red to continue making it free to enter. That *?&@! costs money to put together - either pay up or just don't attend the concerts! [ report abuse ]
Why are the Human Rights Campaign and Lambda Legal so much in the closet? Have you ever seen a T-shirt or other item with either the HRC or Lambda Legal logo that also has any of the words "gay", "lesbian", "bisexual", or "transgender" on it? I saw HRC selling T-shirts for the 2008 election. One T-shirt has two donkeys (Democrat) and the other has two elephants (Republican). Both shirts have a very small HRC equals logo. But nothing even close to the word "gay". What gives? [ report abuse ]
I found a great spot at the pride parade. Then a bunch of drunk, obnoxious lesbians and a few of their drunk, obnoxious gay men friends came over to stand right in front of where I was trying to take pictures. They shouted in my ears, blew smoke in my face, stomped on my feet, and kept ramming into me. I finally managed to get around them and then I put my umbrella in front of one of the *?&@! men, blocking his view of the parade. He gave me a nasty look. Why are some people total *?&@!s? I spent Gay Pride at the beach. Did I miss any rainbow thongs, drag queens, HRC "forums", bar floats, topless lesbian folksingers and dance parties that were especially interesting? Didn't think so. [ report abuse ]
The 2008 Capital Pride Parade was great...even the rain (which stopped
like 5 mins after the last float passed 14th street) couldn't keep it down.
It was great seeing the community united. [ report abuse ]
